Supervised Visitation
Supervised visitation involves monitored interactions between a parent requiring supervision and their children, under the oversight of a neutral third party. This supervisor ensures the safety and well-being of the children throughout the visit by maintaining close observation at all times. The primary objective of these visits is to facilitate a safe and positive environment, allowing the children to spend time with the supervised parent without becoming embroiled in any ongoing disputes or conflicts. These sessions are typically held at a court-designated location or, if not specified by the court, at a site chosen by the requesting parent.
Supervised Exchanges
A supervised exchange involves a neutral third-party overseeing the transfer of a child between parents to ensure that the parents have no direct contact with each other.
Supervised Calls/ Virtual Visitation
Virtual visitation provides a way for non-custodial parents to stay in regular contact with their children. This approach is particularly advantageous when parents and children are geographically distant. Additionally, supervised virtual calls and online visitation can help minimize conflicts between parents while ensuring that visitation occurs.
